Hello, I am Cow Cow, and I’m some schmuck with a blog.
Today is the day I unveil to — pretty much nobody — this brand new Nintendo loving site. My motto is on the banner. This site is a combination of help from a friend, inspiration from Rawmeatcowboy of Gonintendo, and the urge to make a fool of myself.
While the basic idea is similar to that of Gonintendo, I will be able to provide my own material due to my connections. I will go back and review GBA games, preview/review DS games, and review VC games. What about Wii? Well, unfortunately, I don’t have it. Even if I did, I don’t think I have the time for it. For one thing, I’m running this all by myself, and the virtual console alone contains, what, 6 different systems — plus the 2 handhelds. There’s no way I can squeeze in the Wii even if I had one. Plus, I can get DS games and imports very easily, so I can preview and review finished games as soon as most other big name sites. Will be covering any Wii news that I happen to come across or submitted to me.
This is a small site right now, but I hope that one day it’ll be just as big as some of the other well known sites out there. If I am able to gain a bit of traffic over time, I will switch from the free server to a paid one with my own address. For now, I’ll just be using the free service provided by WordPress.
I’d also like to give thanks to Terranigma Freak for pushing me to do this. It was a chat from him that inspired me to come up with this place. He’ll also be helping with some previews and articles early on. Anything beyond that, he can’t promise, but I thank him all the same. He doesn’t want to be listed as a staff member, but I thought I’d take the chance out to thank him anyway. For our very first update, he’ll be the one to provide you with some hands-on preview of Rune Factory 2 for the DS.
Please bare with me as I’m still new to using WordPress. I have a MOUNTAIN of games to catch up on right now that requires a review or preview. I don’t even have time for some of the newest games sitting in my room. These first few days will be hectic for me. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer though.
