I think I know about this movie’s existence, but I really wish it didn’t exist. I heard the rumors, but I always wrote them off as a rumor/joke. Well, this movie certainly sounds like a big joke. Want to know the plot?
It also looks like the King of Fighters movie will introduce a new science fiction spin into the setting established in the games’ universe by following the surviving members of three legendary fighting clans who are continually whisked away to other dimensions by an evil power. As the fighters enter each new world they battle that universe’s native defenders, while the force that brought them seeks to find a way to invade and infect our world.
This is expected from Hong Kong, though. God, Red Cliff makes me vomit blood faster than Zhuge Liang. Yeah, I know about the sci-fi stuff within the stories, but nobody plays King of Fighters for story! I just focus on the “beat the crap out of people every year to determine who’s the king” part of the plot when I play. I hope this movie flops big time. By big time, I mean nobody, not a single person goes to see it.
