The link below has more pictures comparing the board to the actual hardware. I find it funny that when it was first rumored for the Wii, people claimed the graphics were way beyond the Wii. This of course, is coming from 360/PS3 fanboys. It’s not the fanboy comment that I find funny, but rather their complete lack of knowledge about graphics. You’d think owning such a powerful console, you’d be able to tell whether the graphics are good or not, or what generation it comes from, but that’s not the case.
Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom Arcade Board to Wii Comparison

Wii people are different than your “I want to see blood spill all over the screen as realistically as possible” people.
The graphics aren’t what has made the Wii console the top-selling console in the US since its introduction. No, it’s the fact that people can get off their butts and feel like they are actually playing a game that has made it so popular.
When the Wii Fit was introduced, a lost generation of gamers was re-discovered, further increasing their base.
The only thing that is going to stop the Wii console at this point is the new “Wii 3D,” do to hit the streets in the next two years!
